Chairwoman of the Executive Bureau for the Acceleration of Aid Absorption and Support for Policy Reform (EB), Dr. Afrah al-Zouba, has highlighted the great role played by the Yemeni government in facilitating relief works, pushing the peace process, mobilizing support, and building effective partnerships with the international community.
At two workshops on human affairs hosted by Geneva on the sidelines of the 52nd meeting of the Human Rights Council, Dr. Zouba highlighted the government approaches to benefiting from international aid aimed at Yemen's fiscal and administrative reforms.

The Houthi militias imposes restrictions on relief workers in areas under their sway, she added, citing the "prevention of women from movement if not escorted by a family male custodian, negatively affecting relief works and humanitarian efforts."
