Improving Electricity Services in Yemen

This report focuses on the general state of the national electricity network in Yemen, which, due to the war, is one of the least productive networks in the region. The report examines international experiences in rehabilitating conflict-affected electricity sectors and the associated challenges. It also addresses the management and regulation of the sector and proposes several ideas. The report discusses the challenges of providing electricity in off-grid areas and criticizes the current approach to rehabilitating the electricity sector.
